This was by far the hardest painting I tried. It was very challenging and rewarding at the same time. There were a lot of ridges and odd shapes. It took two sittings to complete it. I know I have a lot of room for improvement after this sitting. I just had to put this down. I wasn't getting anywhere. It was humbling to say the least. It did build confidence though. I am eager to attempt another project later this weekend. The new brushes and equipment my wife bought me are really working out well. It is amazing how much LESS paint you use when using artist grade oil paints. Thanks for looking.
