This weekend was pretty busy. I couldn't get to the OOPS paint out during the day so I decided I would try a night scene. I learned loads!!!! The first and foremost thing I learned is whenever painting at night make sure you have light on your painting and easel or you will not know what you are doing! I was in the latter group. I still like the picture and enjoyed the time talking to the re-enactors (sp?). I then got up at 6am on sunday to go and try to paint them in the daylight before they left but it was raining and I said forget it. Around 10 the sun was shining so I went to the new "Deppe Park" and painted. They have a walking trail so I tried to paint that. I painted the toe shoes to try a soft texture. Bernie and I will be painting them again on tuesday. Should be fun. Thanks for looking and feel free to comment.

I was there and can verify the top one was done in complete darkness... we had to carry it over near a street light just to be able to see it. I look forward to painting the ballet shoes together Tuesday Dean. This one looks good... can't wait to see what you come up with second time around.
Bro Dizzle,
Thought the paintings at first galance were "rough", but then noticed looking back on your past work that your "perspective" (3D) ability has been improving with leaps and bounds. While your no PICASSO? (spelled right?) YET! Your still the man!! Keep on KEEPING ON!! Love ya bro
