1936 Kalamazoo

Here is a painting of my dad's old guitar. It was interesting to insinuate the strings and pegs. I really enjoyed blending the orange and burnt umber on the front of the guitar. Once again I tried a compliment color for the background. I used a blue violet mix to compliment the orange.  thanks for looking. Feel free to comment. Dean

Hi Dean
You're making very good progress. I haven't posted before because I didn't have a blog account.
Enjoy all of your paintings and especially the guitar, probably because I was born in 36. haha.
