Tuesday is paint night!

The "brush-ka-teers" strike again. We painted a still life of bread and wine. Lots of fun for all. We all struggled with the color on the bread. It was pretty funny. The final results were pleasing to all. As for me, I was pleasantly surprised that I did as well as I did. For a while I thought I was going to be discouraged. All in all I was pleased.  I did this in oil. I was excited about how I attacked it with more confidence. Since I have been painting with acrylics I found I can paint over mistakes. When I painted last night I was very brave in "wiping away". Very liberating. The first picture is all of ours by the still life, then Mitchells, Bernie's, Stephen's, then mine. Thanks for looking and please feel free to comment.  Dean
