As you can tell by the title I am letting you know what it is. ha! I figure this way no one says I enjoyed the round pear! Anyway.... After I finished the horses I still wanted to paint so I grabbed an apple and gave a shot at it. I tried to work with some complimentary colors to give it some pop. I can see a bit how they work together. I put some on the shadow side of the apple and in the background. I was surprised at how fast I did this one. It only took an hour. I am eager to get at the easel again. The colors look more vibrant in real life.

Glad to see you painting just about every night. A constructive critique for this one would be to push the shadow of the apple darker. If you printed this in black and white you'd notice that the apple would almost be a single mid tone. Also... the dark table on the left vies for as much attention as the cast shadow. I like the highlights and you have done a great job capturing the shape. The compliments also play well. Keep painting on...
